Why I built this
If you want to become the mayor of your city online, you have to own hyperlocal content.
BrollCollective is how you do it. I built this because as a content creator and real estate advisor in Seattle, I kept running into the same wall. The big stock libraries don’t have the corner bagel shop in your favorite neighborhood, the specific Pike Place restaurant where you brought your friends, the moment that actually feels like home.
So we’re building it together. Real creators in real cities, royalty-free for the people who need the footage, royalty paid forward to the people who shot it.
How it works
From a phone on the sidewalk to a paycheck, in four steps.
One marketplace, two sides. Creators upload the blocks they live on, subscribers download the footage they need, and the math runs in the background so everyone gets paid the moment a clip earns.

Creators upload the streets they already walk.
Pull out a phone on a Capitol Hill rooftop or a Ballard side street, tag the exact GPS, and the clip is in the library in under 60 seconds. No drone, no production day, no permission slip from a stock board.
- We clear it
We review every clip before it goes live.
Every upload passes through human review for quality, rights compliance (including model releases for any recognizable person), and taxonomy accuracy. Safe-harbor, DMCA agent on file, the whole boring-but-important stack.
- Subscribers download
Royalty-free footage of the city you actually sell in.
Agents, creators, and restaurant owners pull unlimited clips for Reels, listing videos, menu launches, and client decks. Commercial use, no attribution required, no per-clip license to chase down.
- Creators get paid
Every download pays the person who shot it.
